Who the fuck is the Pale Woman? I've bribed half of skingard including the guards and beggers (duh) and nobody seems to know. I've asked the prisoner who saw him be taken away by her and he doesn't know who she is.

She's a vampire. Between the cells there should be blood on the floor, follow it to the far wall and look at the candlestick/lamp on the wall. Pull it to open a secret passage and head on in.
It's straight forward from there.
Kill her, find the body of the guy you needed to find, talk to the Argonian. The Argonian will share the info he heard from the guy if you free him and help him escape the castle [this was really hard for me, took 8 tries]. Once you escape he will tell you where the jounal is, go get it and take it back to the quest starter.
I didnt kill her right off, she's pathetically weak so I let her hit me for 20 minutes and got my light armour skill from 70-77. :D

In the quest where you're supposed to hide the stolen statue in someone's cupboard it says I can't remove it from my inventory because it is a quest item. What to do?

Kill Me Plz 03-28-2006, 06:13 AM @ Denver - Go to the watergate district and wait til its midnight and then the group of thieves will meet in the enclave by the houses where they'll give you the first chest.
@ Kompo - If you still haven't figured out by clicking the cupboard then just click the girls cupboard (if it says you can't remove it then its not the right one)

I reloaded after that (like a minute beforehand) and wasted her with my bow (sneak attack and then runnning backwards, firing all the way. 65speed ftw).

I went out an found some vampires and purposely got infected. The benefits are awesome.
Also, my speed is 99 or something.

Look at a Gray Fox poster.
Travel to docks, turn around walk through the arch and right towards the houses.
The first back yard by the wall is where the Thieves Guild recruiter is.
Wait until 1am.
Go to the bum sleeping nearby, wake him up and charm him into telling you about the Gray Fox and where you need to go to work for him.
Now walk back to the guy with the torch, he's the recruiter and talk about joining.
Once the quest begins you can wake the bum up again to get a waypoint for the house.
In the house look in the desk on the right before the other thief beats you to it.

i'd suggest saving before you talk to the guild recruiter to start this quest. start it, find the place and where the journal is. you'll probably get beat the first time, i did, and i didn't feel like stealing it from the other person as i had no idea where she was. once you have it saved and know where it is you can easily beat her to it tho.
