Good WoW drama?

Today I was reading a female wow players community on LJ (yes I know) and there's this gem (http://community.livejournal.com/wow_ladies/838090.html).

Cliffs:

-Mom who plays WoW, guild raids at 5. She wants to know how she can rush dinner/force her kids to eat earlier so that her raids aren't interrupted by having to take care of them (she mentions she MAY get 30 second breaks to get them snacks/check on them while they play alone)
-Reports that her husband/whatever has one day off and they spend it playing WoW and letting the kids "run around the computer room" (they're under age 5, mind you)
-Says that she isn't a bad mom because she ignores her kids and puts WoW first.

Procedes to get jumped all over by 4 communities on LJ (including stupid_free), fandom wank (http://www.journalfen.net/community/fandom_wank/913445.html), and Encyclopedia Dramatica (http://www.encyclopediadramatica .com/index.php/Owlsamantha). Deletes her livejournal but not the post so everyone is still having a big wankfest.

All of this has reminded me how great WoW drama can be, so please. Post your recent WoW drama?

We bombed a funeral

Yesssssssss. I saw that video. I would have just handed you gold on the spot if that was my server.

I play on a relatively new server, Aegwynn. I'm a mage and i've been really needing a new weapon before i decided to get any more epic gear. I'm rank 10 and have that full set, plus arcanist bracer and mana igniting cord.

1. Go to MC last night finally being 1 of 3 mages in the top DKP tier.
2. 1 of the mages is offline
3. 1 of the mages buys Robes of Volatile Power (which has never dropped for us), it dropped off Shazz
4. After killing Sulfuron one of our MT/Officers logs off and tells everyone his brother is taking his spot, the other mage in the top tier.
5. Other people at the start of the raid were sitting for DKP, one being a mage.. not sure if anyone thought to say anything to the raid leader about it. but everyone was being bitchy for some reason tonight and a lot of people were tired and wanted to stop after shazz
6. (basically i've been in MC for hours and this guy slips, i'm fairly sure, in on the LAST boss to roll on the only one who drops mage weapons)
7. Just another note, that in the six or so weeks we've been doing MC, only one weapon has dropped from Golemagg, and it was a mageblade last week, and i couldn't roll on it yet.
...
So we down Golemagg and it drops prophecy, cenarion, and the mageblade. The raid leader decides to save the mageblade for the last roll. he says roll! and no one rolls, lol. i waited like 15 seconds and the other mage psts me that he will give me 100g to pass, and i said i don't need the gold, thanks.. obviously this shit never drops.

i press enter, and p0w! i roll 100 (!!!) on the mageblade. vent channel goes crazy and this cockass gives me another tell saying to me how i don't even have a good offhand (he has AV frost +34 offhand) and i tell him i have one banked that's almost as good as yours (+20 spell dmg, Spirit of Aquimentas.. i'm also revered with AV).

if he would have gotten beat by someone who came and rolled on the last boss he would have been a lot more pissed, and if i lost i would have just told him nice roll and waited the next time. basically i got lucky, rolled 100 on a 1v1 roll and won (as i justly should) against another mage who was acting like a gaylord last night

you turned what could have been a good story into a confusing story where I think someone was trying to jack loot and you ended up getting it anyway. I don't understand the story and its not written well enough to pursuade me to agree with your point, mainly because I'm having trouble finding your theme.

you seem to have gotten what i was trying to convey? not really sure how i'm being confusing, other than using a lot of acronyms and such for the purpose of simplicity.

Which is why I don't play this game for the ultra-tier loot. Too much drama from a bunch of whinny pussies who have WoW as the central theme in their lives.

this is why i recommend to avoid leveling to 60 at all costs. lvl 29, 39, sometimes 49 is where all the fun is... in dedicated twink BGs :)

have to find the right server for this though... i recommend emerald dream, and tichondorous

2 horde guilds had the scepter, let's call them 1 who was first to get it, 2 was second.

anyhow the pve carebear nerd cockbag that got it first announced that he'd ring the gong at like 6:30pm server so that people could plan to be there, anyhow the super cool dude from team 2 was getting pushed to ring it early, and he rang it like a few hours early and started the event

anyhow all the nerds raged out over missing the server crashes and lag, which was funny considering these two guilds already disliked the fact they didnt help each other with the scepter shit in the first place.

other than the funeral thing, we had gate gong drama

anyhow the pve carebear nerd cockbag that got it first announced that he'd ring the gong at like 6:30pm server so that people could plan to be there, anyhow the super cool dude from team 2 was getting pushed to ring it early, and he rang it like a few hours early and started the event

They missed like 5 lines of world text and a server crash :shrug:

wow that has to be one of the worst uses for a great weapon ever. Hand of Rag is the #3 SoC weapon for a Pally behind Grand Marshall's and Sword of the Brotherhood (which if a Pally ever got any MS warrior would instantly puke upon seeing this). At least a Paladin has a chance to use it in the BGs over a druid.

If memory serves me, once you delete a journal you have 30 days to "undelete" it before it's gone forever. My guess is that someone still had the link to the entry/comment, which is probably the only way to access a < 30 day deleted journal.

You fail at reading comprehension. The post was in a commnuity and she didn't delete it when she deleted her journal. It is gone now though and it's 200+ comment glory has been screen capped.
