tier 1 epics are ilvl 66
tier 2 epics are ilvl 76

using the following formulas:

Green ItemValuePrediction = (ilvl * 1.21 – 9.8 ) * SlotMod
Blue ItemValuePrediction = (ilvl * 1.42 – 4.2) * SlotMod
Purple ItemValuePrediction = (ilvl * 1.64 + 11.2) * SlotMod

a blue chestpiece would need an ilvl of about 87 to have the same itemvalue as a tier 1 epic chest

ilvl 87 means the item would require lvl 70 to equip

so, to answer your question: no

High-end AQ/Naxxramas loot is equivalent to iLevel 120ish Blues, so no, epics will wtfpwn expansion blues.

My wife is gonna roll a BE Warlock too. She has a Gnome Warlock but she "fucking hates alliance", so it's still level 12 or something.

I'll roll a BE toon, i've got a couple toons but its just not pleasant for me to watch a big cow and some other deformed chars. I've got a low Troll Hunter and a low Cow Warrior

but my main is a Human rogue.

Hopefully they will all stay Ally and roll Draenei rogues.

We have enough kiddies in the barrens as it is.

Blues generally don't have nearly as many stats period as epics. So no probably not.

However, I wholely imagine once the expansion comes out that at least MC and BWL will get the "Strat/Scholo" treatment and be completely nerfed into oblivion as nobody's going to stop in MC/BWL on the way to 70 just to get some epics they'll replace incredibly fast. My prediction is they'll be knocked down to 20mans and nerfed to shit so people can progress through them on the way to or once they hit 70.

Yeah a group of level 70s could kill Onyxia pretty easily and get gear for their guildies.
