I doubt it, though it'd be nice to get away from the queues and pathetic lag 7 nights a week on Tich.

every time a realm transfer opens up i hear how bad it is on the other realm from the people who transfer over.

i'm enjoying my instant bg queues on tich and my guild isn't going anywhere any time soon.

I stopped playing my rogue on tich because of a big server move by our guild. But we moved to pve, and I miss pvp. I might be moving as I haven't touched this rogue in forever, and it'd be nice to casually start over.

Don't do it. My server and two others just finished transfers to Malorne. Don't know about the other 2 servers, but mine had 500-700 person queues at peak, worse on weekends.

Ever since the transfers the peak queue is now 50-75 people, the mail and AH lag are a lot better, and no crashes at all recently.

The story isn't so great for Malorne - they're already full pop and their queues are 200-400 after 5 days of being open for transfers only. General character creation begins this week. Oh and BGs? Well they're so unbalanced that the largest AV so far was 34 people and most of the time it's half that.

on my forums (thunderlord) supposedly, there are a few people that transferred to the new servers and ended up there (on TL). odd.

the purpose of transfers are for people frustrated with queues on the original. generally its those people who "just want to play" (aka noobs) that transfer, and not those who realize how good the original server is and are willing to put up with a queue to play with decent people. and of course this makes the dedicated players happy, cuz the trash has been cleaned up from their server AND lower queues for them :)

if this was directed at me, i know what server transfers are. what i was saying is they did their transfer from Server A to Server B and ended up on Server X.

it was directed at anyone who wants to leave a quality pvp server to some new one for the sole reason of lower queues.

the queues on KJ suck.

30 minute wait for an AB game that lasted 3 minutes.

I am going to continue playing on Tichondrius, but most of FTM left and I want someone to PVP with? Anyone want to post some names and I will /bother you? :]

haha nvm that. logged into tich at 715am cst. took 8 minutes to log in with connected, and then 10 minutes to sell items

i would love, love love to transfer off malganis, even if it was to some shitty overpopulated server

The server they had us transfering to is now full with large queues and several crashes per day. The lag is ridiculous and the balance between Horde and Alliance is crap so BGs suck.

Meanwhile, on my server? Medium/high population, faster BG queues, still getting good instance groups. I'm kicking back and laughing at all of the people who are going AW MALORNE SUCKS I CANT BELIEVE I TRANSFERED MY MAIN THERE.

I would never transfer servers unless all the PVP competition on the relm switched. Tich has some of the most skilled players and the most balanced PVP I've ever seen.
