has anyone gotten some epics yet? my guild just started working on AQ, we did the 20 man and got the first 3 bosses down just kinda screwing around. havnt had the chance yet to run the 40 man, so lets see some ph4t loot!

I picked this up off of the bug family (Vem) 2 weeks ago. Pretty much the best tanking ring in game (unless you're going for pure stam).

The plate looks kewl, the cloth is just idiotic.

Unfortunately most of the loot we get in AQ is de. Warriors and Rogues seem to be the only 2 classes that are interested in the set pieces. Time to start saving DKP for Naxx…

We cleared AQ 40 yesterday from first boss to Emps. Every boss, including Emps dropped some retarded druid loot.

Note : I am a druid... and I wouldn't even pick up those items. They all kill my set bonus, and they also look HORRIBLE.

Eh, to be fair, there is so little leather moonkin loot in the game. Moonkins might actually be pretty decent if there was actually any gear for the spec, but until AQ, there simply wasn't any. Same applies to a lesser extent to feral gear. I'm kinda glad they finally put some stuff in, but they could have spread it around the different instances instead of plopping it all into AQ40.

as a pure nuker, i still don't see how you'd take them over a warlock or mage... other than like... batlle rez...

the aura is... pretty useless unless they give casters more agro control, otherwise you're basically stirring the threat pot... like grats your shadow bolts crit more, now grats stop casting for a bit

I didn't want to say anything.. since some people like to play moonkin.

But yea, it's crap. Only with the best gear in the game will it become remotely viable.

There's so much crappy druid loot in that instance it's retarded. Aside from the turn-in auger staff, and angelista's neck, there isn't crap for new healing gear. Hell we had the 70 healing/10mana/5s robes drop and almost DE'd them because everyone's saving for that damn staff. There's not much for caster dmg upgrades either. The cape (which I picked up for the hell of it) is a sidegrade from cape of the broodlord and most of the other dmg upgrades are meh.

The worst part about AQ is we have idiots in the guild who are passing on needed NR gear so they can save up for the 1 or 2 items everyone wants that they're not going to get for 3 months.

edit: I should say there's healing upgrades, but nothing I'd bother getting. So I guess I can't bitch about that, just need to be less picky. But the Caster DPS items are meh fo'sho.

weve also gotten boots of the fallen hero, 2 cloaks of concentrated hatred, and hive defiler wristguards. and those nr gloves. i dont remember the loot that didnt concern me.

oh and we run aq20 with 2 raids every time its up so blah blah buncha shit outta there too i guess

That's a problem with your DKP system. Resist gear needs to be completely trivial, or free, or no one will want it.

We had that problem for a little while, and I told the officers flat-out, that I will not spend DKP on cockblock resist gear.

Now all resist gear is free, and everyone is happy.

We charge very little for NR. If we give it away free, people will bitch and moan if they have to roll for it. Or you'll get the idiots that will roll just to bank it. The thing is we have 35 people holding out for the same 3 pieces think they'll be the first to get it.

Sorry I know most of the issues aren't with the AQ loot, just mostly venting.
