So I got wow over winter break (for my dad partially). Played it all through winter break and had fun. Then I stopped cuz i'm in college all the way across the country and didn't want to bother with wow while i'm doign school work (and cuz we only have one account and i didn't wanna go through the hassle of allotting play time for both my dad an me)
Now it's nearing spring break, and I've decided that I'm going to get a second account.
Give me suggestions on what char I should be and what I should spec in (I'm thinking PvE, though possibly a bit of PvP)
This'll be on a normal server
During winter break I made a warlock and warrior on my dad's account. Warlock was meh, but warrior was decently fun.
I was thinking shadow priest... then info about 1.10 came out, and I"m thinking that might not be such a good idea? Should I just stick with priest and go holy/disc instead?
Just throw anything out there
Danke

it all depends on your play style and if you plan to group up with others a lot or not. If you want to solo and do a lot of dps i would say take a rouge with herb and alch.. that should keep you going for a while but remember with a rouge you cant rush in and smash it all.
if you enjoyed the war then that is probably your play style.. take a war.. very easy to get into groups as a war due to being a tank and taking damage.. i would take a war with mining and black smithing.. i am even thinking about it now due to how much fun they look.
If you enjoy healing but enojy rushing in and taking damage and dishing out decent dps and you can even cast a bit you can consider a druid. the quests for the bear and the fish form is a pain in the ass though. they offer VERY fun play, right now at lvl 33 i can solo equal lvl elite mods on my alt drooid so that gives you an idea of their ability to last.

Nail Bomb's post makes my head hurt...
Anyways, I'd go Warrior too if that's what you enjoy. End-game you can tank and/or dps depending on your guild's need. With a priest or druid, 95% of the time you'd be required to be everyone's bitch healbot. I've played a priest for a long time, and trust me, I didn't have fun. Rogue is the most fun class for me, and ofcourse the #1 dps class, but still we're WoW's redheaded step-children and underappreciated.
if you are thinking a priest then just make a druid
they serve the same purpose but can shapeshift and you're pretty much guarenteed a guild at 60

I probably sucked at it too much to like it. I always thought my pet (the big blue thing) was invincible... then it would die and consequently i would die shortly thereafter.

So it looks like I'm going rogue
I dont' know too much about them (I've only seen one in my wow career). What build do you suggest I go with?(mostly PvE)
The FAQ at the worldofwarcraft forums had too long of a list, so I couldn't choose myself
imo get the test realm and copy accros the 2 classes you like the look of most and see which one you like best,

If you do go rogue, combat does the most damage. I'm currently specced 18/33/0 but any variation of that works with swords or fist weapons. Combat daggers is 15/26/10.

Go gathering profs until 60, then spec what you want.
Better money that way (go skinning/herb). The crafting profs aren't that useful since you can find better shit on the AH (besides maybe alch and selling the pots for money, but it's pretty time consuming IMO).
