did i do the right thing on the turn?
how else could/should i have played this hand?

Preflop: why would you EVER call this? What in the world are you hoping to hit? J2o is a miserable hand and should be played only in exceedingly rare (short-handed or steal) situations.

Flop: You are getting good odds to call, but you are calling here strictly for 2-pair/trip value.

Turn: Despite the fact that he had what he had, easy fold on the turn. With 5 people in the pot someone is going to have an ace way more than often enough to justify folding here.

Preflop: you know, i really have no idea. Just a newb i guess haha

Turn: From what i could gather from my time at that table, it seemed that he was very loose with his chips, i actually contemplated folding quite heavily for a good 15seconds, but yeah im just chalking it down to newbism.

Jagz, don't take it hard. Live and learn :) Even loosey gooseys wake up with OK hands every once in awhile. Since you know he'd play any ace preflop an ace seems very likely here.
