How much of your BR should bring to a low limit table?

I just deposited $50 recently on PS and started playing on the .5/.10 tables, but when I do I have been using the whole $50 when I join a table. A friend of mine was saying I should only go in with like $5 or less, otherwise I may be making people leave or fold alot more than they would, but I haven't noticed that happening. Does it matter?

Anywhere from 15-24 big bets is pretty normal.
Just don't ever dip below 10Big bets. Technically you should always have twelve, since you should always have the maximum number of bets you could possibly put into one pot. In practice though I've never put 12 bets into one hand.

At least 2x to 3x that. You lose one small pot and you no longer have enough to cap every street if you bring in 12BB. I usually bring in 50BB, but I multitable and don't want to have to worry about rebuying.
