the guy had come into the top 18 with 600k in chips, which was 300k more than anyone else had at the time and had subsequently donked off all his chips since then, but he now has tightened up as he has no more chips to spew..but still, i knew him to be a bad player

so do you like the call or no? regardless of whether i called or not i was still going to be in second, and that was thing that pushed me over the edge to call

AJ and AQ are death hands at final tables.

calling down 1/4 your stack to a pre flop reraise all in with AJo? i'd fold, but i tighten up a bit early in a FT.

I'd say its really tough to get away from, and as long as he doesn't have AA it isn't a horrible call if you're wrong.

Short stack who has to make a play within the next couple of orbits, plus you're getting about 2.5:1 for odds on your call. I call looking for a race with an underpair. Sucks that he caught a hand.

I fold AJ a lot until it gets down to about 4 players. I play it early when it's cheap but it's a costly hand. Just like KJ KQ KT etc.

Reminds me of tonight... I had KK, decided to call all in on this guy who had previously bluffed several times, I didn't feel like he had AA, or AK.... He turns over QQ, to my KK.. All was good until the f'ing River when he drew a Q... 4 hours of my life I'll never get back :-|

I'd probably just muck it pre. I don't like playing that hand utg specially with these blinds. Probably just muck to the raise, pretty much just hoping he's got 10s or lower.
