It's going VERY well.

I get leary about projects that don't have updates more than once every 6 months. Screams "vaporware" to me.

Frankly, I think it's better this way. They aren't getting our hopes up in advance.

In three years we'll have a new Tribes game, so no worries, we'll still be here.

this VA looks like another legends to me, why not just join the fuckin legends team instead of wasting the extra effort...

Except that BF:V didn't bomb. Sure it sucked, but sales-wise it didn't so much, and I suspect that development costs were kept down substantially by using basically the same engine and whatnot.

They did, and then they decided that since the legends team essentially consisted of nobody, and no desire to share source code, that it was easier and more productive to make their own game.

VA is making progress whereas legends isn't.
