So other than Legends and RenWerX, will there ever be another Tribes game created? I see the VU got sold, so perhaps that will increase the chances of this happening.

Oops. I guess I read it wrong. Irrational games was taken over. Well whatever, I just want a new Tribes game, that's all.

The market is so huge nowadays, and god knows they are running short on good ideas for games (fucking repetitave ass shitty game market right now). I bet within the next 6-10 years or so, long after the failures of T:V and T2 are forgotten, someone will at least produce a game in the Starsiege Universe - might even resemble Tribes!

More games featuring jetpacks seem inevitable to me. Any such game has about the same odds of a concensus of support by Tribes players as any actual Tribes sequel has achieved.

If only some element of a huge publisher like VU was capable of assessing the actual content, creativity and potential of their product lines, then certainly we'd be hoping for another sequel. In other words, no.

I have to agree with NoFix. There will be another Tribes game. All the new games are moving toward the large warfare direction, Consoles are pushing more and more toward multiplayer games etc. It just wont happen for several years until after the fact. So dont hold your breathe.

There will be another tribes game, just not for a few years. Something else will possibly spark it, a new game in the Starsiege universe perhaps (not SS2845).

It'll most likely be multi-platform, and all playable on the same servers (360, PS3, PC, MAC).
