t:v models for t1

Has anyone converted the t:v weapon models to t1, or has anyone tried?

A) The grappler wont work in T1 so why bother porting the other weapons. The grappler is what makes Tribes what it is today
B) Without the Normal Mapping Specular Lighting and all that Jazz TV weapons dont look that good.
C) Do it yourself. Apparently, the people that normally do that sort of thing don't want to.

What tribes is today? Its a wasteland. Not unlike some of the T:V maps with destroyed cities in them.

Sure, some players linger, but the empire which once was is now gone.

LOL! As everyone knows, I'm a T:V fan, but above that, WAY above that, I'm a "Tribes" fanatic. This post actually made me laugh out loud. Especially point C.

I agree. Plenty I think that normally skiing don't want, and while generally you I take itself weapon and do turret, however can't or yellow pipe for definitely Katabatic.

regarding A, the chain, disc and nade launcher look pretty sweet to me. there's no grappler in t1 so why worry about it.
regarding B, some of the textures from t:v have already been released for t1 so if we had the weapons to compliment it it'd be a pretty slick setup.
regarding C, Amadeus captured it perfectly so refer to his post.
