I have 2 sticks of 512mb PC3200 ram.
On the post it is showing up as DDR400 x 166MHz (3-3-7);
I believe on my old mobo it was running at 333MHz.
Is the speed the ram is running at now fine or should it be still running at 333MHz and if so how do I make it run at 333MHz.
I have an EPoX 8NJPASLi board.
Thanks is advance for any help.

The POST screen probably shows clock frequency, which doubles to 333 because of it being DDR.
That said, you should be able to run it at 200 MHz.

Ew. You should really want to get it working at 400. I swapped a 512 of 2700 in and loaned one of my 3200s because my roommate's computer wouldn't take the 2700 (upgrading for a game, shitty ass Dell). My comp ran faster with 512MB of 3200 than it did with 1GB at 2700. WAY faster. :p: DDR should be pretty much always magically detected nowadays, so it's odd that it's showing up as 333MHz.
Ok, decided to look into it. Google didn't return anything for the part you gave so I assume it is this:

8NPA7I - But it's not an SLi board. I don't keep up with hardware that much, so dunno. Anyways, it has this on one of the BIOS updates:
** Set 200Mhz as default for 'Memory Frequency' by K8 754 Ex version CPU.
I have had 3 EPoX mobos in my time, and all of them had BIOS issues or chipset issues. I don't buy em anymore. Anyways, you may just need to set it to 200 in the BIOS. I never recommend BIOS updates unless necessary, hehe. Especially since I'm not even sure if that's your board.
edit: I see from the other thread that it's the 8NPA. http://www.epox.com.tw/eng/support.php?ps=375&type=1 That's the BIOS page for it, doesn't mention a frequency issue. So you may need to manually set it. You might want to double check that it is actually 3200 memory. Otherwise, if it doesn't boot, just do a CMOS reset.
