so I got a laptop this summer and its worked fine until last night. all of a sudden the power button starts flashing and there is a loud beep every few seconds. i started to think it was overheating but i'd only had it on for like an hour. So today i do the usually, plug it in and start it and imediatly it starts beeping again. i take the ac adapter out of the back and it stops and hasn't beeped since.
is the power adapter bad or could it be the female piece in the back of my laptop? this is the first time i've ever had this problem and couldn't find anything through google or yahoo that sounded like my problem.
anyone have any idea wtf is going on?
