[Mining] Best Mithril Spots?

I finally finished up the Mithril Order quests and now am capable of doing the Armorsmith quest.

Going over my list I have already procured the harder to get items (black pearls and a Heart of Fire seems to be a lot cheaper than last I was in Eldre'Thalas) and the Aquamarine I had and when ISN'T Thick Leather around? This leaves the grinding stones, the mithril and the trusilver. I worry less about the solid grinding stones because I get them off Mithril anyway and I'm sure I will be able to get them by the time I meet the quota.

So where is THE place to get mithril? At present I'm lvl 52 and presently I ride laps around Tanaris. Seems to offer a lot of Mithril, but I have to run the complete perimeter to get all of it. Any interior mountains I searched only came up with iron.

So where can one mine up 108 mithril ore in some relatively reasonable span of time?

I did this when i was still in my 40s so i camped behind stromgarde a lot, theres 3 veins behind the keep + some more down by that cave that goes to the pirate ship, theres mithril + ts inside the cave with the kobolds behind hammerfall. STV has good mithril too if you can get out there during off hours.

That's pretty much all i remember, i havent played that character in like 6 months.

Eldre'Thalas is Normal, not PvP, so it'll be easier to farm for mats. I'll take a look back there after the holidays.

hinterlands is where i go.. make sure to go into the troll village, not the elite place one but the other place.. thats where i farmed all of my mithril

yep, I used to run a figure 8 around the badlands collecting mithril.

Do I look like a noob? I always have GAtherer, that's how I know I can run laps around Tanaris, there's a lot of mithril there. And it only seems to happen on the edges, the inner mountains seem to only yield iron/gold.

I'll look into Hinterlands though and Badlands.

badlands is THE mithril spot

near kargath up in the mountains theres rock elementals near a little cave thing that spawns iron inside, theres usually mithril outside the cave too. the dustbelch cave, inside it and up on the hill outside of it usually has mithril. the rock elemental spot next to the dustbelch cave also, and the spot where all the elite dragons are theres mithril. just do big loops around badlands and sometimes dip into the middle checking for spawns and you're set

Thanks for the tips. The mithril alone required to do Armorsmithing along is 118, and that doesn't count the 120 needed to complete the first part of the Mithril Order quests, and the second part is most likely around 120 to to make all the armor pieces.

That's a retarded number...
