and most of those peoples responses suck anyway
eyecu - shoulda pushed
caco - well, you have to consider the fact that the player was from alaska, which as we all know is a region approximately 1500 miles N-NW of seattle, WA. from this information we know he is located in a very cold environment, so we have to take into account the possibility that he misclicked that bet because he was shivering and clicked the wrong thing. Lets assume that theres a 5% possibility that the bet was a misclick; from that we could conclude that the correct play is to raise. Unfortunately, you must also consider that HE KNOWS YOU ARE THINKING THIS and may be using that to his advantage and he might be trying to trap you into betting and becoming pot committed for your whole stack. so really when you think about it, you know nothing at this point. Therefore, you need to look at other factors.... did the player have a dollar $ign in his name? this could psychologically tell you that this player is OUT TO MAKE THE BIG BUCKS and has a good hand. Does he have a percentge sign in his name? this could be a clear sign that he plays by the percentages. The surest sign i have seen is people with *'s in their name; this tells you they consider themselves a STAR and are probably trying to bluff you. but, since his name was (%)-$uper*$tar-(%), you must take the ratio of stars to percentages to dollar signs to find the correct play. as you can see, he has 2 dollar signs and 2 percentages in his name but only 1 star. hes only a semi-star at best. he has the nuts, obvious fold here
ekos (to raidan or eyecu) - tough break, nice play though
ekos (to anyone else) - rigged obv
edit
alloutwar - My reasoning is that I would like to be able to avoid paying taxes because I sincerely dislike them
