only 50% of screen actually in videoplayer, what's causing it? [Archive]

Recently got something weird with playing video. (any format)
I can't seem to get the whole screen in my playerwindow.
I tried WMP, mediaplayer classic, VLC player and winamp.
I can see the whole screen in the example window of TMPGenc so I tried encoding it to mpg from there. Still the same. Not whole the screen in there.
I put it in windows moviemaker, can't see the whole screen. I make a screenshot of it through WMP -> whole screen is in it.

wtf?

Video-overlay-settings -> zoomsettings video overlay -> "out"
