Holiday presents are out for CoH and CoV

Existing and new characters are getting jetpacks with snowflake exhaust when they login as of late last night. :)

I am not sure how long this will last but for lowbie characters it should be fun.

Interesting. Too bad I'm swamped at work through the weekend :(

A Badge called "Scrooge"

Access to a Santa Hat Costume Piece

The mission is super simple. Don't even have to kill anything, just steal presents.

On the Hero side you can get the same santa hat and the badge 'Holiday Spirit' by taking on a mission to steal the presents back.

Phase 3 of holiday fun went into effect yesterday. Basically now there are presents on the roof tops (mostly) that you can click on. Sometimes you get high end inspirations and others you get a spawn of Snowbeasts to kick your ass.

What I really despise about this is the lvl40's running around and clicking all the presents. If they don't get their inspiration they leave the high level spawn of snowbeasts behind and it is really annoying getting sent to the hospital from them.

Noticed that, when i'm on a my level 44 on Virtue I patrol Steel Canyon plus the lower zones and then mow down beasty spawns and generally save players butts from becoming bloody sno cones.
