PhrenzY 12-01-2005, 04:32 PM So I've been playing on a fairly new server for the past 2 months or so, Detheroc, and yesterday Blizzard decided to open character transfers from Sargaeras to Detheroc. They allowed a server that had been open since launch to transfer to a server that is only 2 months old now, is that not just about the most ridiculous shit ever?
So now, we have guilds like Imperial Order who transferred over who obviously have MC/BWL on farm status and cleared all 4 green dragons, to a server where the Alliance side just cleared to Majordomo as of last night and Horde killed Ragnaros this past Sunday. Some of these people have full tier2 sets, which isn't that bad, but the weapons they're using make it to where I can't even compete in BGs anymore.
What the fuck is Blizzard thinking? Not to mention as soon as they opened transfers, they released four brand freaking new servers that same day.
Sigh, Blizzard is retarded.

outlaw 12-01-2005, 04:41 PM i keep making new chars on the new servers and getting them to mid-30's.... then i hvae to go back to the same ol server ive played on since the day it came out b/c i have 8 RL friends that play endgame there :/

Illidan -> Usrin is going from a server with slightly more horde to a server with a LOT more Horde. Also, Illidan has been out since release while Usrin is 4 months old.

LOL Internet 12-02-2005, 08:33 PM I am on Sargeras Horde (hey Slurp). I transfered one of my 60s over to Detheroc, and yeah, you guys got screwed. Two of the biggest Horde guilds transfered over: TKT and End Guys. While nobody on Detheroc even had full tier 1 (haven't even beaten rag) here come these guys with full tier 2.
Anyway.. I'm Vivex on Sargeras and Vivax/Thepete on Detheroc.

Who said anything about racing, that's not what's important.. it's the fact that prior to the transfer I wasn't getting 2-shotted by Thunderfury's and Ashkandi's.

and if you're a warlock and get two shotted by a thunderfury you have serious issues, besides all thats lethal about the thunderfury is the proc and the proc rate got a major nerf in 1.9, it's not that great of a pvp weapon imo... and two shotted by a ashkandis? what are you at 25% health?
i bet i have like 1k less health than you

You're completely missing the freaking point here, before Blizzard decided to be dumbshits, no one had anything relatively close to being as powerful as Thunderfury's and fucking Nefarion loot. It's not hard getting two shotted by a rank13 warrior in full fucking Wrath and an Ashkandi.
Get it? NO BWL LOOT, hardly ANY MC loot, and no one was even above rank12 yet. Read.

and if they are sword spec its easy to see someone get near two shotted just from the sword proccing.
