The cash out thing again...

Alright, another one of those cash out days... This time I cashed out $1200 by check. I sit down for another session. In the session I played just under 2000 hands playing 8 tables full time. Net on the session I was down $120, or 12 buy-ins. I'm not going to complain about any individual hand because I get it. Playing that many hands, someone hits their 1 outer or 2 outer or whatever, it happens. AA/KK get cracked, I get it. But when you get your money in 3-1, 6-1, 9-1 or better and lose hand after hand, you start to wonder what the hell is going on.

I'm not claiming that anyone is cheating. I'm not claiming anything is fixed. I'm just reporting results, ie what happens in the sessions. Four out of four cash outs have been followed by a session unusually bad, 10+ buy-ins lost. I'm not saying I'm some great poker player, far from it, I'm not even really that good. But I have figured out a system to get my money in when I am ahead and hope for the best and it works, I'm making pretty good money, taking from idiots at the low levels. It isn't real poker, but I can't argue since it is generally stress free.

*sigh* I guess take the afternoon off and go to class and then go back to work tommorow.

Considering I make my living playing poker, I might have noticed this so-called "cash out curse." But I haven't.
