What were you trying to accomplish by that move?

I wanted him to fold so I can show 72off to the most aggressive player at the table (second to me, of course) and to let people know that I have no problem pushing them around so they will bend over to me and fight amongst themselves.

and this:

Tight agressive players are better than loose aggresive ones in the long run.

I had one way back when i first started playing. been awhile so details are a bit hazy...but I was colluding with a friend, we had a little miscommunication preflop and I raised with kj, he called with ak and bb called... flop was jxx, bb (crazy/donk aggro guy) checks, I bet, friend folds, donk c/rs allin for a huge overbet and I call..

he has jj...

turn = k
river = .....

K!

that "agression" you posted isnt agression, its donk play

just like blackfade said, you will be called by everyone, no one will respect your raises, if you wanted to be respected you should have pushed and shown aa a few times

you cant have people "stay away" when they know 80% of the time they'll have better cards than you

and lag isnt worse than tag over the long run, who told you that

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed) internettexasholdem.com (http://www.internettexasholdem.c om)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with :kh, :kd.
3 folds, MP1 calls, Hero raises, 1 fold, CO 3-bets, 1 fold, SB calls, BB calls, MP1 folds, Hero caps, CO calls, SB calls, BB calls.

Flop: (17 SB) :4c, :6d, :qc (4 players)

Turn: (16.50 BB) :kc (4 players, 1 all-in)
BB bets, Hero raises, CO calls, BB calls.

River: (22.50 BB) :as (4 players, 1 all-in)
BB checks, Hero bets, CO calls, BB calls.

Final Pot: 25.50 BB

Results in white below:
SB has Ah Qs (two pair, aces and queens).
BB has 4s 4d (three of a kind, fours).
Hero has Kh Kd (three of a kind, kings).
CO has Jh Ac (one pair, aces).
Outcome: Hero wins 25.50 BB.

Not really a suckout, but the pot is worth more than your first place prize.

I didn't clarify. It depends on what game it is and the players you are playing against. If you play LAG ALL of the time, you will lose more than you will make. If you play LAG at a table of all TAGs, you will be profitable. Judging only from that play, I can't say whether he played the majority of his hands like that but if he did, that sng he won is a fluke and he will be unlikely to win more with that style of play.

I start off laggy, go tight then lag out again after showing down some real hands.

The shitty thing about lag image is that people will call your big pushes with AQ vs ur 98 on a 8 3 6 board and sometimes catch. But that can happen anyways. When people lose respect, over the course of the session you get paid off because they usually have subar shit after you tighten up.

PS nh Ix rofl that's a supersuckout.. Limit is all about sucking out (improving hands).

well, 44 got lucky on the flop, Ix got lucky on the turn. Was technically a bad call PF by the 44 with horrible position and 2 bets to go, so really he deserved it.

This one, which happened Thursday night, is pretty bad, and I was embarrased to rake the pot. My only defence was the bet on the turn was only 50, and at that point I had almost 800 sitting in front of me...

I had Ac4d in the BB
Nobody raised preflop
Flop is 10c4c7s
Everyone checks around to the button, who bets 25, which the SB and myself call (I wouldn't have called if the SB didn't call)
Turn is 2c, SB and myself check, button bets 50, we both call
River is Jc, SB checks, I bet 100, button pushes all in (120 more), SB folds, I call and very reluctantly flip over the nuts
Button says "fuck" very loudly and flips over Kc7c

After the guy told me I sucked out on him (duh), I said, "yes I did, but if you play that hand stronger you probably force me out" to which he replies "i'm not wasting all my chips to win 50 bux"

sorry :(
