Shaman Talent Tree: help please :)

Hi guys. I just started a new character on Kael'Thas server.
He's a lvl 8 shammy. Now i was just wondering... can any of you help me out with a sweet skill tree. or talent tree, whatever it's called...

My assumption so far is that i pile my stuff into Spirit and intellect. Tell me if i'm right or wrong here...

As for the talent tree, hook me up with your best!!! i want to be a damage dealer/healer!

I did a tri build for leveling + rape face pvp imo.

5/5 Shield Spec
3/3 Improved Lightning Shield
5/5 Thundering Strikes
2/2 Ghost Wolf

Then I went to the elemental tree

5/5 Concussion
5/5 Convection
1/1 Elemental Focus
4/5 Reverb
5/5 Call of Thunder
1/1 Elemental Fury

And finally

5/5 Improved Healing Wave
5/5 Totemic Focus
5/5 Improved Lesser Healing Wave


This build worked best for me as a pvp/leveling. I absolutely dominated 1v1 and could take on 2v1, 3v1 if my opponents weren't too bright with pretty much ease. Throw in engineering and my orc stun racial and I was a god! ;p
Ya I used a 1hander and shield but I always had huge armour mitigation and hp plus with windfury even with a one hander I was critting big with high attack power and crit%.


Though it sounds like you just want to play a Shamage so you may as well go do your elemental tree and then the rest in resto like every cookie cutter shamage does.

Improved lesser healing wave is probably the best talent I ever took. After that its all about what kind of damage you like to deal. Go heavier in either of the other 2 trees depending on playstyle. Take NS if you want but it is by no means necessary.

thats the noobest shaman build ever for a 60, no NS? wtf?

If you want a good shaman build, I'd do enhancement for awhile while lvling, when/if you get to 60, either put a shitload in resto for mana tide, or the best pvp build after trying a shitload out is 30 in elemental, 0 enhancement, 21 in restoration, but thats also very gear dependant, even with a couple % crit chance of spell items its a very reliable build, just gotta know how to setup people :)

chain lightning has such an enourmous chance to crit with that, +10% just for talents alone, along with another 10% from the gear, and its only a 1.5 sec cast ;o

its funny getting the rallying cry of the dragonslayer buff then hitting up an AB, everything crits in terms of spells and its complete ownage :D

enhance/ele for lvling

resto/enhance for group pvp

i guess if you want to be worthless and solo at 60 do ele/NS or enhance/NS

first order of business should be rerolling to tauren or orc

not with 1.9, the troll beserk will own face

My Shammy on Kael'Thas is going to be specced this way.

enhancement shamans are for retards, gg's tho

after you get 5/5 in flurry drop some into elemental

at 50 i'd respec to get natures swiftness and whatever other build you are

once again, enhancement is for retard shamans, plz come again

trying to do dmg as a shaman in general is stupid imo

let the warriors with windfury in your group kill people

your job is to heal, purge, and earth shock enemy heals
