Anyone have the Expert Knife badge?

I suppose it would be easy to cheat and get it, just have a friend come on the server with you and kill him a bunch of times, but that's cheating. It's hard enough finding 7 legitimate kills in a match to get the basic badge. You gotta be real lucky to find 18 :o

nope, i dont even have basic. i read a lot of people saying how easy it is, but i have a hard time getting 3 in a round, let alone 7.

Highest I've gotten was 14...I just came in the back way down the alley as USA to the fence area on Kark and got lucky a couple of times.

I still haven't gone for the basic yet, I have a few knife kills, pretty much all against a sniper.

I have silver and it is very easy to get that. Formula:

-1 Strike at Kark 24/7 server with 32 players.
-Use knife for all kills.

Takes a while to get used to but you'll eventually make it. As far as Expert goes I've only ever gotten 14 in one game. Tickets were set to 300+ and on a server like that it's only a matter of time. And stealth counds but you can always rush people and it does freak them out sometimes. People just don't like close quarter combat... they think bank line courtesy applies.

I got mine from being on a pistol and knife only server. Shame they got rid of that, those were some fun games.

I've been meaning to get one just for the hell of it, but every time I'm a medic and get the jump on someone I always knife them.

I don't have my knife badge, but thats because I haven't really tried to get any badge, I just play.

I have found that I use the knife more and more, as I keep getting the jump on guys standing around near corners and stuff.

spawn camp with a knife. like the west alley at Hotel flag on Karkand; just stand in that alley and knife people as they spawn. works really well if you find a 16-man map server.

Been playing medic a lot recently and find myself usign the defib over the knife. It is guaranteed one hit kill with what seems to be a longer range than the knife.

Always fun to stalk guys just to defib them :)

Prolly cause they are proned. Hit detection is fucked up trying to defib a proned enemy while youre stading/crouched.

yeah, teammate of mine goes on the other team, revives a guy, i knife, rinse repeat x 20

I think I only have 80 or so knife kills, and you need to have 100 for expert (in addition to 18 kills in a round). I need to get my pistol badge in the next 2000 points so i can get first sargeant ;)

How many pistol shots to the head does it take to kill? I've never really tried

pistols are fairly simple. i believe 2-3 headshots will do it, but 7 fast shots to the body will take a guy down. remember that the pistol fires as fast as you can click.

The only time i ever tried to defib someone was a sniper who was prone. He noticed the zap and then i had to shoot him in the face (not as fun)
