what the hell is that power bus thing? I see that it's 12v power outside the computer, but does it have a long cable to fish out of the case or what? I might need something like that.

Its kind of like a baybus only for power. You just plug in one 4 pin molex connector and you can plug in 4 other devices such as fans or cathodes etc etc.
