Lost my manual and want to reformat

as the title says I want to reformat but I lost the manual so I don't have the game key. What are my options?

if you already reformated you're toast, but if you haven't you can retrieve the key from the registry.

Its encrypted, but maybe you can copy it from here:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWA RE\Electronic Arts\EA Games\Battlefield 2\ergc

and paste it in after format.

There's no way that key is the key. waka waka.

Plus in the thread I posted in GD about it they said it's encryped. I'm wondering if trying to email support about it would be worth a shit.

I just checked that registry key. Its the exact same key listed on my game manual.

There's at least 40 characters in the reg key I have.

I should be able to use my brother's cd key to install right? Seeing as I already have an ID and everything.

You can use your brothers CDKEY if you already have your own account, but dont expect to play on the same server as him.

Are you sure it's just the server? I just playing with some friends (including him) tonight but I couldn't. I was able to get on a SF's server though. I assumed it was because SF's uses a seperate key.

Either way I'm fucked because he's one of my regular squad.

Yeah, I didn't register the game so I'm fucked. They want 10$ and for me to ship them the cd as well.
