BF2 is fun and all but its just not keeping my interest like a tribes game. I guess once you go jetpack no other ground pounder compares.
Anyone else losing interest already?Pages :

Starwind 10-25-2005, 04:23 PM BF2 is fun and all but its just not keeping my interest like a tribes game. I guess once you go jetpack no other ground pounder compares. bladewalker 10-25-2005, 05:44 PM I could use more maps and other content for sure... but there is an expansion coming just in time to keep me playing BF2 the rest of the year. I only have time for one game really though. Pachacutec 10-25-2005, 06:11 PM game needs some fixes/features imo. 1. auto map dls (would encourage user creation) 2. more city based maps (i think sharqi is bf2s raindance, perfect in many ways) 3. hitbox issues still open 4. remove stupid fucking dolphin diving you fucking cunts 5. deal with the jeeps blind spot issue in some way. with the tank it makes sense, but in a jeep your head would be moving around to get a good view, and its a huge pet peeve for me. as for gaming though, you really have to find a good server and a some people interested in teamwork in order to have fun/be interested. you DONT want to be on wake island on the us side, with an awesome pilot on the other team and no one on your team squaded. Kachu 10-25-2005, 06:33 PM It got old before patch 2. Same old Battlefield but much better graphics. I say bring on some good mods. DeadlyRabbit 10-25-2005, 07:59 PM I still play and enjoy it, not everyone is going to stick with it. Spry 10-25-2005, 08:38 PM After about the first 2 weeks of playing it, I knew it was getting old, so to counter this (dont wanna waste $50) I only play in scrims/matches. Now, even just playing scrims/matches the game is still getting boring (and, since I don't pub, I suck). Are there any games out there that can hold me interest for as long as T2 did? (3 years+) instead of the same old FPS that gets old in 2 weeks? Dirty Sanchez 10-25-2005, 10:10 PM im still having fun just pubbing on a regular server. i think once i hit master sergeant ill get bored quick. Macabre 10-26-2005, 03:31 AM Are there any games out there that can hold me interest for as long as T2 did? (3 years+) instead of the same old FPS that gets old in 2 weeks? Great question I'd like the same answer! Although it was T1 in my case destroyer193 10-26-2005, 02:16 PM I wish there was a way to display your badges you earn. uno 10-26-2005, 04:12 PM people who play for ranks/badges need to be hanged. i mean seriously thats fucking pathetic bladewalker 10-26-2005, 06:59 PM What is a non-pathetic reason to play a video game for hours and hours? bladewalker 10-26-2005, 07:00 PM I wish there was a way to display your badges you earn. How so? If you mean in a sig or something go here www.bf2s.com ayz 10-26-2005, 07:32 PM What is a non-pathetic reason to play a video game for hours and hours? personal enjoyment compared to impressing online gamers ]D||C[Cracktrooper 10-27-2005, 03:23 AM I play every day for at least an hour or two and am still learning all the sweet spots in the maps. Sure, playing some custom maps adds a little extra excitment, but it's still a damn good game. Scrims/matches just make it more enjoyable. bladewalker 10-27-2005, 09:14 AM personal enjoyment compared to impressing online gamers I find enjoyment in getting the awards and ranks as well as playing the game. Paladin-5 10-27-2005, 12:24 PM I try and play for an hour or so a day...still enjoy it quite a bit squad/ commander thing is still kick ass Tai 10-27-2005, 03:33 PM I still play fairly often (3-4 sessions a week maybe?), although pubbing is really only enjoyable to me when I've got at least one triber watching my back and communicating via vent. thereal Shaolinmonk 10-28-2005, 08:01 PM bf2 seems to have the most depth in a fps out now days. still wish for jetpacking. lonewolf63afo 10-28-2005, 09:52 PM Running around with a squad is about as fun as you are going to get for a while. It's better than DOD:S. As good as bf2 can be, theres always some super homosexual thing to ruin the fun. shadowwolf 10-28-2005, 10:51 PM BF2 doesn't have any depth, if it has depth it's horizontal depth which is a cheap knockoff of vertical depth. | ||
