HOW TO USE A PROXY SERVER:

1. Find a proxy server (DynaBlade posted some between page 35 and 36)
2. Open IE
3. Go to Tools -> Internet Options
4. Click the 'Connections' tab at the top of the Internet Options panel
5. Click the button that says "LAN Settings"
6. Check the box that says "Use a proxy server for your LAN"
7. Fill in the Address box and Port box with the proxy servers IP and Port
8. Check the box that says "Bypass proxy server for local addressess"
9. Click Ok, and then Ok again
10. Test the proxy by going to a website (don't go to sites like google because for some reason they work even if the proxy server doesn't work).

If the website loads at a moderate speed, you're good to go. If it doesn't load, repeat steps 1-10 with a different proxy server until you find one that works to your liking.

For those of you who don't know what a proxy server is, it hides your real IP, and allows you to get around bans on the internet.

Also, those of you on college networks, be sure to check your handbooks or whatever the fuck you get to see if it's against college rules to do this. I know at my college it's not allowed to mask your IP. However, this is just a heads up for those of you who don't know. If you want to do it anyway, go for it.
