I wasn't sure where to put this...(mods feel free to move it), and while I'm probably preaching to the choir posting this on SF, maybe some curious visitors will read it and take something from it.
I have a friend from High School (we're in our mid-30's now) who I'll call Fred. Fred's parents are German...they immigrated to the US in the 1960's, and Fred grew up in a very German household. He was a proud German-American all his life, always talking about his fine German genetics, and his need to create a bunch of little clones. Looking back at the way he was in High School and college, I'm suprised he's not here with us on Stormfront.
Growing to be a serious, hardworking, responsible, conservative man, by his late 20's Fred was seriously looking for a mate. Even then he talked of mating with a woman who could improve on his already fine genetic code (he actually used those words). However his priorities got a little skewed. Searching for a woman who was his intellectual equal, or even smarter, he lost of sight of other important factors.
About 4 years ago, he began dating a Chinese girl.
At that time I wasn't racially "awakened" to our problems like i am now, although I've always been at least a LITTLE racially aware, and I knew even at that time that this wasn't very good.
I kind of addressed the issue delicately, but I had neither the knowledge or the conviction that I have now, to address it properly. Fred being a stubborn man, my rather weak attempts did nothing. Soon he proposed marriage, and she accepted, his reasoning being that she is very intelligent, and so is he, and they will have fine, very smart children. (To her credit, she is very smart...smart enough to get herself a green card by marrying an American.)
Once that ring was on her finger, her true colors came out. She's a vicious, self centered egotist. She began controlling Fred, brilliantly manipulating some of the self-confidence problems that probably led him to marry her to begin with. Before long, he was hardly seeing his white friends at all....they seemed to spend most of their time with her Chinese friends. She claimed we were all too "wild", and I guess by her standards we may be....my crew still enjoys getting a little crazy now and then (although our idea of crazy is a lot mellower then it used to be).
They married, and quickly had a mongrel child. The poor child is trapped between cultures, between worlds really. This woman hires a string of Chinese nannies to raise her child because she doesn't want to be bothered. Apparently she's actually complained that the kid looks "too white". She teaches it english and chinese (it's just starting to talk) but from what I gather no German is spoken in that house. Fred is a weak man, and all traces of his German heritage are gradually being swept away. The household is one big culture clash and the Chinese side is winning...
No one sees much of Fred anymore. One of our crew got married a few months back, and Fred came to the wedding. His wife apparently refused to come (no one shed any tears about that) but Fred actually made a rare appearance, and damned if he doesn't look like a sad and broken man in those pictures. My mother was at this wedding, and she's known Fred nearly 20 years, and she told me she felt horrible....that Fred has backed himself into a corner with no easy way out.
Fred know, to some extent, how I feel about what he has done. I don't see him, or even talk to him much. It's not that I'd refuse him (I know some here would, and that's fine, but we've been through alot together and that's not my style), but I think he's embarrassed and a little ashamed. No one made the big deal over his mongrel child like they did when other friends had kids, and I think he knows why.
I wouldn't be suprised if he gets divorced a little ways down the road. I think that would at least be a step in the right direction. Of course, he has a half-breed child and that can't be undone. But if he could loose the wife I think he could pick his head up a bit higher.
Anyway...poor Fred...his story break my heart. This is what happens when there is no social pressure to stay with your own kind. I haven't seen a real smile on his face in quite a while. I can't help feeling that he turned his back on his race, and now he's paying the price.
I hope, one day, he can get a degree of relief....that he can undo at least SOME of what he's done. In the meantime, I share Fred's story so that others can learn from it.
