For some reason the installshield program cannot find find my BF2 folder. I run the patch select english as the language and it runs for a while then comes back with unable to find BF2 folder or something to that effect. Any Ideas as to how to get this resolved? I cant find anything.
open regedit, peruse to this location:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Electronic Arts\EA Games\Battlefield 2\InstallDir

if it doesn't exist, create it. value should be REG_SZ the path to your bf2 root dir.

edit: also make sure bf2 can read from your registry. you should have admin privs at the very least.
