Since the patch I guess I've noticed the game very glitchy. Kinda like lag but I don't think it is. It skips ALOT, makes it impossible to play even on low ping servers. Anyone have a similar issue?

What kind of problems would I have if my machine were overheating?

I have a 6900GT, 2.3 intel and over a gig of ram.

I've noticed it lately as well. I can be standing still and suddenly my view will turn 135 degrees.
Could be just a coincidence, or maybe the server is close to restart time.

After 1.03 i have been getting this a lot, jerky movement,pl, dropped conns to servers. I blame bad (net)code when servers I've been playing on comfortably for 2 months with 1 or 2 drops now drop me once a day.

Not sure if this would help but I will toss it out anyways:
1.) Did you delete all of the Logo's in LogoCache folder? I've read that some malicious dos proggy's have been delivered this way causing in-game issues. In fact, one of my clanmates had one and after removing it it helped clear up his BF2 issues.
2.) Maybe clear out your bf2 video shader cache?? Let the game optimize shaders again...
3.) I wasn't having any issues, but I did an uninstall (kept profiles), reinstalled, patched and defragged.

Well I was also having issues with Black and White 2. I took out the card, dust covered, it was bad. Cleaned it out, and B&W2 worked fine. I haven't checked bf2 yet but I will briefly tonight.

So everyone might want to check the fans on their video cards just in case.

I had the same problems the first couple days of the patch. I haven't played in the past few days, but after those first few days I think my problems magically cleared up by themselves

try deleting all the porn off your computer, did it for me

yeah, wasn't the card although I believe that didn't help.

Anyway, I was still having the problem, changed the settings to a lower quality and it's working without the problem now. However I did play on a different server so I could chalk it up to packet loss. I'll post what I find out later. Thanks for the help.
