Interested in this game

What is combat like? Do you just target and push button like Earth & Beyond or can can you manuever around and actually dog fight?

Not sure what Earth & Beyond is like...but it is push button..etc. But to say it is that simple would be wrong as there is so much more to it. It really does take some strategy/skill.

Um...there is a 2 week free trial I think that someone can surely give you the link on btw so you won't be out anything giving it a go. :)

You don't manually control the ships like a sim or Wing Commander, though that would be awesome. You do have control over your ship though, and can maneuver manually, set certain ranges from your target, etc. for optimal damage.

Actual PvP is pretty rare though, especially in our region. It's usually a fleet vs. fleet lag battle, which is a little disappointing. I have had a few 1 vs. 1's though, and they are awesome strategic battles.
