I just passed 10,000 ranked kills. Yay.

Been using the bomber alot lately. I like the co-pilot seat and the missles, but more and more I get impatient with people dog fighting with the bomber while I twiddle my thumbs. Or them just going for bombing runs without setting me up.

When I'm pilot I'll spend all map setting up people for the missle...trouble is people don't know to reset it after a while by moving the cursor to the four corners cause it gets out of alignment.

wana explain how to line up a bomber and the side gunners lock on works? I pilot all the time and rarely (like twice) co pilot in a bomber and how the damn thing locked on eluded me.

As a pilot you have to fly directly at the target that you see with your bomb hud, but not like you're going to shoot it...keep your nose up slightly. It takes a couple of seconds to get the lock. Also after the missle is fired don't pull up or turn if possible cause that might mess up the gunner, since it can change the trajectory of the missle. I usually go out a good distance beyond the bases to turn around since it takes a little while to get a lock.
Side note: You don't need to keep rearming your bomber if your co-pilot is decent...like on Gulf of Oman you can camp the carrier since the missle has a big blast radius...it won't lock on but if you're steady it will do good damage.

As the gunner your effectiveness is really based on your pilot. You can get locks and hold down the button, but if he's turning alot they will go astray. After every run I always move my cursor to the 4 corner edges to make sure to reset the target. And spam missles on enemy bases...since you have so many.
