Ideal Rogue gear

I'm getting close to 60 now but I have a problem... my gear sucks! It's expected though since I rarely have enought "play only" time to spend 2+ hours on any instance. Also a lot of pickup groups suck. It's painfully obvious that the gear I'll get solo won't be as good as instancing or becoming a pvp whore but I want the best I can get using the little time I have to play...
Anyway, what's the best gear I can aquire as a rogue without having to instance?

assuming you're not retarded and are thus dagger specced, go for attack power.

devilsaur legs/gauntlets from the auction house
stormshroud shoulders
barman shanker mainhand can be farmed with yourself/friend quite quickly

that guy gave you all instance drops. if you dont want to instance, get shifting cloak, devilsaur gauntlets/legs, stormshroud shoulders, mongoose boots, heartseeker, scarlet kris, more i can't remember.

Dagger sucks for levelling. Good for PvP, meh for PvE unless you have Perdition's/HW (excluding Vaelestrasz, infinite energy = Daggers > Combat)

You could ATTEMPT to get your PvP rank up, get the PvP gear, or get exhaulted with AV/WSG/AB. Have fun with that shit though.

Nice link... so far I have the Devilsaur set and I'm enjoying it's perks. My weapons currently are lacking though (Phantom Blade and Julie's Dagger) so now I'll have to get my hands on better ones.

yeah those are pretty terrible. do Dire Maul North runs and grab a cho'rush blade, or keep doing ubrs for the Dal'Rends set. i got mass of mcgowan from onxyia so =] no $$$ spent

thats my rogue. aside from Mass of McGowan, the onyxia necklace and doomhide gaunts all the other shit is easily obtainable and pretty good

as for the thread topic you will not get decent gear without going into instances, or farming mobs for hours which is just as bad. you can't get something for nothing.

you can also PvP to an absolutely insane amount but if you're struggling with playtime this will be impossible for you.

DM:N for perfect runs take about an hour

DM:W if done right can get done in about an hour with a good group and you can nab some decent gloves from immolthar or a good offhand dagger or excellent bracers from the last boss
