Will servers ever have a shuffle/randomize function

it seems like everytime i play in ranked server it consists of one completely stacked team and one completely hopeless team. I do ok even on the poor team but it just seems kinda rediculous no attempts are made to even it out even between rounds or at map changes.

there any future plans for a team randomizing or shuffle feature?

I think the next release of bf2cc will be adding this feature, it already has smart autobalance

yeah it just seems like i usually get stuck on mec forever against some noob Black hawk marines that couldnt win a round as mec if their life depended on it

Most of the servers I've been playing on Play 2 rounds a map, and each team switches after each round.


So if you get fucked one round on Mashtaur because their being blackhawk whoring faggots, you can be a blackhawk whoring faggot the next round right back to them.

It's just a nice little switch up to keep one team from being constantly over powered.

ok i gotta find some servers like that, most ive played on seem to retain teams through rounds and map rotation. I really only play on one server though, god that server browser is horrid

i've been on a few of these servers... pretty cool bit of functionality.

People with the same clan tag in their name always end up on the same side with each other, it's like magic.

can you blame them? Pubbing alone is so boring.

I'm not sure how smart the autobalance is....I've been switched multiple times while being a squad commander with troops under my command

umm if the server is running the bf2cc you can set it to not switch commanders/squad leader/or squad members in any combination

the problem is a lot of people aren't using the daemon

Only lone wolf players should ever be switched or shuffled, it breaks squads being on those servers with team swapping... not to mention I hate being MEC. I've been autobalanced to the other team when leading a great squad or even commanding too many times to play on a server unless it has a "0" next to autobalance. :D

yeah i think they should keep squads together, like swap a whole good active squad over to the craptastic mec team for 5 or 6 non grouped mec. It would turn the whole battle around

1.03 will fix the switching of Squad leaders/members and Commanders.

So if you are squadded up, or you are the commander... Don't worry, those worthless lonewolfs will get swapped.
