Name Change?

Anyone else forced to change their name due to reporting to Blizzard? I know accented names are against the naming policy but I never see anything done about it. And one of my guildies took the name "Meinweiner" and someone reported him and they made him change it so he changed it to "Justabox" It seems naming violations are prioritized by potential to offend people than by the actual policy itself.

I was Alphà from Nov. 23rd until sometime in late Jan/early Feb. I was 60 for well over a month before someone decided they didn't like me.

Name violations are hit and miss. Depends on what GM answers the petition. Some are total cockmongers, some don't care. However, they can, and will, change your name for any reason they feel like.

we have a guy that got his name changed a while back. his name now is 'sheepo' with a lower case s. the gm was too lazy to hit the shift key.

They changed my rogue (Alphà), a death-dealing powerhouse of wanton destruction, to "Salli", yes, a fucking homonym for a little girl's name. I still catch shit about that DAILY from guildmates. I quickly changed it to Ippon. In fact, I don't think I ever even logged on as "Salli", but I was a moron and told people because I thought it was funny. =p

Edit: I'm also taking bets on how long it will be before someone reports my Paladin alt, "Loladin". I'm not really sure what rule that breaks, but I'm sure someone will report it eventually, since I tend to be a complete dick ingame about 50% of the time.

I was thinking about creating a Hunter named Smatchead because of how many times I've mistaken 'm' for 'n' in-game.

and I came up with a great name for a pet too using the same principle, but I forgot it

He's also the same punk who reported Shining Path as being a terrorist organization, reported Sandradee for putting his rank14 pvp hunter account up for sale, and reported Halfast for being abusive as well (he changed his to Half, my hunter is now moved to Dunemaul and named Sabrosa).

Well my guildie was apparently given the option to change his name and he changed it to "Justabox", see how long that lasts. I think the naming policy is stupid on grounds enforcement are unreliable at best. Probably goes for other policies as well, seriously the only reason people get away with this shit is GMs are so inconsistent with enforcing any of the rules.

i leveled a rogue to 60 on laughing skull named sdk, went to arthas and got sdk reported on my priest at about level 50.

took over my friends account not too long ago to play mage, but it has the fucking worst possible name ever. shenlong. is there anyway i can get it changed? or by any chance is shenlong against the naming policy? get some friends to report my name for retarded reasons.. bam, changed name.
