XP3200+ 9800 problems!

ok one last time, maybe somebody can help me out.

System: XP3200+ A7N8X E-Delux
RAM: 1 gig pc 3200 RAM.
9800 Pro
Onboard Sound
ONboard LAN


Cliffs:
-I can play Singleplayer medium/high settings doesn't crash. I tested it and let BF2 run for about 20 hours straight. no crash.
-Go online to play multiplayer and I can load map. Get into game and click kit and spawn point and then BSOD. No error message.
-Reinstalled windows, updated everything, newest drivers. (minus BIOS drivers for A7n8x e-delux drivers.

anybody have any good sugguestions? I'm thinking its the 9800 pro and I might buy a 6600gt and see if it works.

any help would be much much much apprecaited.

Yep, try everything low and off (sound on low too with no EAX).

I'm guessing it is the onboard sound. Did you grab the latest nforce drivers?

I have almost the exact same system (except that I have a 2500+ mobile oc'd to near the same speed as your chip), and I have no problems - I run everything on medium and have shadows off though.

Does your machine lock up and does the game freezes, then gives you a black screen with an irritating noise?
