Twice I've been in a group that had a bugged panther boss, is this a common occurance?
1st instance: hit the gong, heard the priestess yell and then nothing ever spawned or happened. This was on patch night. Didn't try it again before raid timer was up because of other guild things planned the other 2 nights.
2nd instance: hit the gong, bitch spawned and eventually we wiped on our first attempt. We all rez and buff up ready to choke a bitch and cannot click the gong again.

btw we got bored and spawned the fish boss and he dropped a POS polearm. We heard he drops nice caster gear so one of our rogues did the quest really quickly and we dropped him. Dropped some polearm with about +20stam and +atk power while fighting beasts and +2% chance to hit.

its happened to us once when we left the instance to do MC and tried her the next idea
blizzard is aware and was suppose to fix it but apparently it might be bugged still

For the click the gong and nothing happens thing:
Try moving away from the door that enters in to the place, spread around the room a bit, just until she spawns and is engaged.
We had it happen where we clicked the gong like 4 times and nothing then spread out a bit and it worked.
Definitely a... hectic fight. Definitely harder than Razorgore IMO.

sometimes we have to click it a few times. also, have a paly drop concecrate to get agro on her when she pops up for a split second.
then brace yourself, this fight is harder than razorgore.

No what I was saying is after the first spawn the gong is unclickable. No chance. We even went as far as to go out and fight the hydra (fishing) boss then come back to make an attempt and still unable to click.
No consecrate here, we're horde so we don't have your crutches.

Worst "aoe" evar. Only useful for a pally to find a rogue or when he is trying to tank.

if you don't want to use a crutch, the drop a totem that would grab agro on her when she pops up for second.
that is, if you don't want to use a crutch.
