I started on Wildhammer when it opened up some three weeks ago, and we're getting some actual character now. On the Horde side as I found tonight were two such characters. A lvl 31 orc rogue named Val and a lvl 33 orc shaman named Yo. I was questing in the Wetlands, (Lvl 30 rogue) with two guildmates (lvl 28 mage and lvl 28 priest) and we got to AngerFang camp to get war banners these to roll out and gank us. After the initial attack we got back and killed them. They came back so now we're thinking "Okay, kill them five or six times on respawn and their rez timers should be so high they'll be unwilling to wait the time." Well as we were engrossed in mobs they attacked again. But this time we had more of a plan down. Mage would sheep one and ice the other and I would CS, BS, KS, etc. It went rather well until they decided to target the priest. Time and time and time again they tried to gank us, and lost. Even to the point of coming at us full on respawn at 50% life/mana. I won't complain since I got about 18 HKs from them and collectively about 70 honor or so, but damn they were persistent. We come to find after THREE HOURS they are still there trying to gank people. Most of the time they fail, we assume because neither knows how to play their classes well at all (shaman never shocks at all, rogue only does stealth as obvious bait). They've being rather well known and it's gotten to the point people come here now just to gank them and farm them for honor.
Obviously being on Alliance it's a lot easier to find characters of your own faction. One such we have on Wildhammer named Conway. He started around the same time I did and he setup some kind of personality, complete with his catchphrase "DOING THINGS MY WAY THE CONWAY" I personally find him amusing and of course some people get pissed at him. You know it's someone older because despite using all caps not only is everything spelled correctly and grammatically proper but shows he's got a larger than average vocabulary. He comments on what he's doing and he responds to people ask him to quest with him, etc. and he always speaks in the 3rd person. Always in caps, and always without punctuation. He's almost like HorkaThane is his consistency to his little persona and it's more often than not entertaining.
So you guys on other realms have your own "characters"?
