all they need to do, at the core, is give locks a 40-slot shardbag and some form of Blink or other weak defensive skill with a 5 min cooldown.

they've acknowledged these issues for 6+ months and done nothing about them, only tweaking demonology. locks need some form of fuckin defense skill besides casting fear (whcih sucks and isnt instant)

they also could make the top summoned pets actually fuckin worth something, but i have absolutely no hopes of that. it's also absolutely fuckin retarded that warlocks always lose pets by simply traveling while mounted (and we need to waste shards to bring them back).

problem is... so many loser warlocks whine on and on about removing shards that it detracts from the real issues.

or make a 10 slot bag that shards can stack to 4 in or something.

I'd settle for 4 main things:
-Demon Armor improvement. Why can't we have something similar to Frost Armor? Hell, I'd even take something like the Tainted Blood effect. And of course the mana cost needs to be lowered to be in line with other magic armor.

-Infernal and Doomguard improvements. Why they can't just make them last until death (either the death of the Warlock or the pet itself) is beyond me. If they have to keep the enslave system, the least they could do is remove the shard cost from resisted enslaves.

-Review of the shard system. The problem is really two-fold: gathering them and storing them. I'd like to see Drain Soul turned into a short-duration DoT and shard stacking enabled.

-The growing bug list needs to be taken care of (resurrecting with less than full health/mana in BGs, pets not resurrecting, CoA quirkiness, Demonic Sacrifice buff being removed when zoning into/out of instances, etc. etc.).

The lack of a defensive spell is a big issue as well but I don't see them doing much on that front.

i honestly have no problem whatsoever with shards and gathering them. it's the practicality of HAVING them and using them on stupid stuff which annoys me.

to me, the defensive ability is the most important one hands down perhaps with the lvl 60 pets being 2nd in importance.

it's been clear from the start that blizzard has just failed to have capable representatives working with the warlock class and community. the guy who usually represented warlock concerns to blizzard (the CM) never even played a warlock and always misrepresented the concerns.

even now, they put the shard issue at the top which imo is truly nothing more than a whiner complaint and has absolutely no relevance to fixing, finishing or balancing the class. nonetheless, they basically promised a bag of sorta way, way, way back at the beginning and just havent followed through.

but fancy shard bags wont FIX anything. they'd just be appreciated.

drain soul being a dot would OWN but i just dont imagine blizzard grasping how much more complicated and frustrating it is to play a warlock at lvl 60 than just about any other class... and thus how practical this would be. their internal warlock testers clearly dont give a damn and they just dont play warlocks enough to respect what's going on.

i'll be happy if they just do some core things.

Blink? Frost Armor?
What next, Portals and Conjure food/water?
I'ved played both Mage and Warlocks, Warlocks are alot more powerful, but there defence sucks, not one way they can get away after being slowed, well...even if you are not slowed it's hard.

Soulshards ideas I agree on.

The problem with soulshards bag is you still need to farm shard. So we can stack them 20 a stack with a 40 slot bag for shards. That's 800 shards you need to farm. You still need to farm.

I agree. I don't think we should get blink or turn shadow armor into a frost armor style buff. An instant aoe fear that stuns people (paralyzing fear) for 10s with a 10 minute cool down would be nice.

I laugh at warlocks, I can't remember a time a warlock has beaten me in recent patches, between the PvP trinket and all my rogues stuns and interrupts, it doesnt matter if they had 8k life, I'll still take em down without much effort.

The whole soul shards not stacking is the dumbest thing in this game, farming for shards to fill up some of your 80 bag slots is horrid, I don't understand why they didnt give you guys a soulshard bag from the start.

I don't even have a warlock, but everytime I kill some MC equipped warlock, I wonder what the hell blizzard is doing with you guys.

Allow the Warlock to either assume demon form or have a demon possess him. This turns him into a combat machine and renders him unable to use other abilities. In the case of possession he might actually lose control of his character while it fights for him. Possibly a short duration panic-button for use when the Warlock has no other options left.

Some kind of teleport spell, like Blink or a spell to have the Warlock and his pet switching places

I reallly like those ideas, fusing with your current demon pet would be really cool, and the switching places with your pet would make fighting a warlock real interesting, players with good demon control could become a real powerhouse.

warlocks can't have everything Tse...

if you want to be a mage, go play a mage.

i do agree about the losing of pets when mounted/flying and the lack of usefulness of the top lvl summons, but that's about all. The defensive thing is a shallow cry. Yeah sure, paladins could cry about wanting to do more damage (aka be a warrior)....but they aren't warriors in the end.

please dont exagerate what im saying. my mention of blink is to mention it as a concept not as a "I WANT TO BE A MAGE" so spare the cutesy disses which dont relate to what im actually talking about.

im not saying they deserve "everything" but to have a basicly balanced class. as a cloth wearer they have NO real defense. you can say they are strong (i agree), but that's totally absurd. it's not about having everything.

fear/seduce really isnt a viable defensive skill whatsoever (in 1v1, especially given all the anti-fear shit in the game). it's awesome for offense, in a sense, but not really viable for true defense. blizzard themselves have acknowledged that locks are the most fucked cloth class when it comes to defense. this isnt about them wanting to be mages or whatever the fuck...

if you play a lvl 60 warlock you know it's basicaly pointless to even try to cast fear in a lot of pvp situations. keep in mind it isnt an instant spell.... (like most other caster defense skills)

as for their pets, again, no fuckin locks use lvl 60 pets for a reason. it's a waste.

when i say warlocks oughta get a weak blink... i mean not exactly like blink but a VERY weak defense skill LIKE blink with a long ass cooldown. something that gives them at least a PRAYER against a melee class when they dont have a succy out.

that is absolutely essential for them, especialyl for those leveling (perhaps most warlocks forgot what that is like... and dont realize it is a lot harder now with all the nurfs)

it is as far as im concerned, a dps class is boring, and in pvp the warlock is just a pain due to the fact you're a huge target. Demonology is buffed now but i still lean more towards pve stuff.

Healing is fun as hell for me, i was a priest in beta and enjoyed it. The druid is a nice change, more durability and the stealth helps for pvp when i want to.

Personally, i see no reason why anyone would play a warlock over a mage, but thats just me
