You know how they have those like, private servers for Lineage II?

Do they have any free, privately run servers for WoW like that? I wouldnt think so but I just thought I'd check. I kind of want to get back into WoW, even if only for a few weeks, but I'm back at college now and I dont have any money.

There are some I have heard about but they are nothing special. Lots of quests are horribly buggy or don't work, and not all the spells/skills are there.

player caps at like 32 people, and if the server says it has more, then just imagine official WoW in IF multiplied by 1000.

notes: the WoW private servers are worth shit, don't bother. Only private servers worth a damn that i've played are Lin2 and UO.

Actually some of the more "private" servers I've seen are very good, seen some that have hundreds of users online at once with no lag.

Disclaimer: Those server are on very, very nice private boxes on very, very nice connections. You won't find them posted on forums or irc channels either, you have to know someone.

but yea, i'm sure their are some playable Priv servers out there. But the ones that you'll find googling, are pretty crappy compared to most of the L2 priv servers. L2 private servers can actually be quite fun if you find a dedicated server that is up 24/7 with not overly high rates.
