So I'm not reading 40 pages but is the general concensus that he is telling the truth or that its bullshit?

- If the kids left after they knew they were busted he wouldn't have had to shoot one.

- If the guy dropped the TV and put his hands on his head they would have taken his gun and wouldn't have shot him.

- If the guy didn't stand in the middle of the road trying to get them to stop so his five buddies could rush them he wouldn't have had to run him over.

In all three instances the people brought it on themselves and paid the price.

Also, have you tried shooting an angled windshield with a small caliber handgun? Well you should try it sometime just to see what happens, dumbasses.

First of all, to all these people saying he should have left. You're simply stupid. How many times has the media said, OMFG WTF LEAVE NOW when nothing actually happens or if anything it's minor. If you want to blame someone for people not leaving, blame the media for yelling wolf too many times. I probably wouldn't have left myself.

In regards to him shooting people. NONE of you have been in that situation and as such can't say shit unless you have. By actually READING his post, unlike so many of you, I agree with his decisions given the circumstances. Many of you who disagree are of the same thinking that you shouldn't own a gun because you can call the cops. By the time the cops show up it's probably too late. You're ignorant and unrealistic.

And for those of you who say he should have just left, why? Your house isn't damaged yet, you have a community of people to help you, and overall you're not too bad off. Protecting your home is part of what this country is all about. Just because you have insurance doesn't mean that you should just let anyone do whatever the hell they want with your shit. And as been said hundreds of times already, once your home is spotted as an easy target it's not going to get better.

I take pride in my home, and would protect it given those circumstances and would do everything Code4. Awww some criminals died breaking the law? fuck'em. It's called thinning the herd and at the end of the day, the world is likely a better place because of it.

As for the realism of the story (again only on page 28) I believe it completely. To make something like that up would be one of the biggest dick moves of all time and judging from Code4's other posts he doesn't strike me as that kind of person.
