DocHolliday 09-06-2005, 02:24 PM You killed someone over a TV that wasn't even yours?
I'm not a fan of looters but it's fucking television for christ's sake. That's why people have homeowners insurance.
You might wanna read the other 35 pages of this thread.
Letting him take the TV would be the wrong thing to do.

is it fair to rephrase it...
"the looter got killed over a tv."
"code4 almost got killed over a tv."
better?
Uncle Silas 09-06-2005, 02:29 PM HE DIDNT KILL HIM FOR THE FUCKING TV. GOD DAMMIT.
He claimed they shot him before anyone saw the gun.
When human life is worth less than trivial posessions then there's a problem.
And no, I'm not going to read the other 35 pages. I think the story is bullshit but I'm bothered by all you crazy bastards saying it's cool to kill someone over a television set.

If someone's reaching into their waistband in the context of him being caught stealing a TV, do you think he's reaching in there cuz he's nervous and wants to rub one out to calm his nerves?
No one here has said that it's "cool" to kill people. _I_ support Code4's actions and do not second guess his course of action.
Fancy Cat 09-06-2005, 02:37 PM i'm glad you're alive man.
and i would have done exactly as you did if i had been in your situation.

he didnt get killed over the TV, he got killed over the fact that he went to grab a gun from his waist, even if a cop had done the same thing it wouldve been a legit kill
it was legit so stfu you stupid fucks who think he saw him stealing a TV and shot him for that
iNVAR 09-06-2005, 02:45 PM If the guy had any sense, he would've jumped out of the way. No one would've been killed.which is the same as if he (or his friend, which you seem to have conveniently forgotten about) fired a few rounds out the window. you do realize why the passenger side seat is called sitting "shotgun" don't you?
You make it sound like Code4 had a lifetime to think things through. Say he was going 40 mph on a residential road and he notices someone jump to the middle of the road with a gun and tries to wave him down. If he tries to stop then, he would come to a stop closer to the guy with the gun, and therefore, be a better target. If he stomps on the gas, he'll be a harder target, and if the carjacker's too busy getting out of the way, he won't be trying to line up his sights and getting a good sight picture.
for the last time, no one said to stop. there are glaring contradictions with what code4 did with regards to killing/not wanting to kill. he sped up at a perp with a gun standing in the middle of the road, but did not fire a shot at the person. he said he didn't want to kill someone, and yet he sped up right at the person HOPING he'd jump out of the way. he shot someone who was possibly reaching for a yet unseen gun yet he did not shoot at a person that was clearly actually holding one with the intent to use it on him.
mostest def 09-06-2005, 02:49 PM crazy story if its real...
and about the tv, no one was killed over a tv, the man carrying it could've put it down and walked away but he chose not to and he presented himself as a threat when he reached for his gun. I would've shot too.
Flash 09-06-2005, 02:51 PM ENOUGH ABOUT THE FUCKING TV ALREADY!

My argument, is let him have the TV because it's not worth killing someone over.
My argument, is let him have the TV because it's not worth killing someone over.
totally understand what you are saying and i do agree
but the other side of that argument is that the person didnt get shot just because of the tv
he got shot because of the idea he had that he could enter said neighborhood and take whatever and do whatever he wanted
its bigger than the tv

I wouldn't want you as a neighbor.
"Yeah, sure, he's not home. Go ahead take all his shit"
Ascoe 09-06-2005, 03:01 PM invar, how do you shoot accurately from the driver's seat of a vehicle?
Assuming you are right handed.
Vlasic 09-06-2005, 03:01 PM
When you were languishing in rooms I built to foul you in
And when the wind set down in funnel form and pulled you in
I don't need to walk around in circles
walk around in circles
walk around in circles
walk around in
don't need to walk around in circles
walk around in circles
walk around in circles
walk around in
When the ghostly dust of violence traces everything
And when the gas runs out just wreck it, you insured the thing
I don't need to walk around in circles
walk around in circles
walk around in circles
walk around in
don't need to walk around in circles
walk around in circles
walk around in circles
walk around in

He saw somebody do it in a movie once so he rented the movie and watched that scene over and over and over.
He now rates Marksman status when it comes to shooting out of a moving vehicle.
