I'm completely fucking confused. Where would you have gone? There was no precedent for this...I mean, it's not like EVERY time there is a hurricane it turns into fucking Thunderdome. Honestly, if my neighborhood was in good condition (obviously relative to the rest of the city) I would sure want to stay there. Shelter, some food, people you TRUST. You have got to be delusional to think you could make it through that type of situation with hostile people ALL around you and not have to even CONSIDER using deadly force. I mean...that's just fucking ridiculous.

everyone is making this out to seem like hes such a bad guy for defending his stuff, are you serious? i mean, i've seen almost everyone in this thread yell at someone who posts about how they stole this or that and called them criminals and faggots for stealing, yet youre perfectly O.K. with letting some kids, who are STEALING for NO reason, get away with it? i can understand food, whatever. but tvs/computers/other electronics that cost a good deal of money, along with jewlery and valuables that people place alot of sentimental value on can be almost as important to people as their own family, and who are you to tell them they are wrong in protecting what they RIGHTFULLY own? hypocracy ++

I understand your point, but no one has addressed the possibility that there were many people who stayed behind in the hopes that the opportunity would present itself for the lawlessness that has transpired over the past week. Conversely there were many who stayed behind to counter it until the cavalry arrived.

I read his post as if it were to say that if the government can't get it done, we just throw our hands up and say "oh well." The government is an extension of our will whose sole purpose is to protect our interests so that we can go about the business of having interests to protect...nothing more. When that system fails, it's up to us to protect those interests directly, and anyone in this country who fails to realize that is a victim just looking for their chalk outline.

As long as the animal within us exists and/or people who cannot control that animal exist, it will be necessary to take some really unfortunate actions from time to time.

By all means, find my posts stating that people were stupid enough to stay. On that note, I was under the impression that the people being called stupid were the ones who were told they were DIRECTLY in the flood path. For all we know, Code4 knew his neighborhood would be free from fatal flooding.

he didn't really admit to killing anyone, it reads that multiple people fired on the guy with the tv, he never confirmed that he actually hit, and he didn't confirm any kill/injury with the other 2 incidents when driving to the hopsital

plus there's the point numerous people have made that no one is going to give a shit anyways
