Help!! I'm stuck in mac hell. (Data Migration)

Hey guys,

have any of you successfully performed a data migration from mac os X to win xp?

The user has about 3.5 gigs of data much of it in different languages and about 75% of it get corrupted in the process.

I've tried using a version of MacLink deluxe to translate the file and folder names to something more palatable to winxp without much luck.

know of any decent translators that dont crash every 2 seconds? Or could you give me an outline of how you've pulled it off successfully.

I've done it before but never with anywhere near this much data.

any suggestions would be helpful. At this point i'm breaking out the sandpaper.

nvrmind. It appears the translators worked however it created some fucked up copies of each file that start with a . and are 1k in size. After removing them i was able to see the real files and everything is peachy again.
