Notebooks

Where does the Pentium-M stand compared to the P4, or any mobile processor compared to the mainstream desktop processors? I want to get a notebook that isn't gimped for gaming, but I know practically zero about mobile technology.

Also, without going totally overboard on the price, what video cards are good for notebook gaming?

Unless you really want to spend 2000+, or play older games, gaming will be out on a laptop.

I went the cheap route, and got one from best buy with 475$ worth of rebates, bringing the final price to 450$. It plays Tribes1, and 2 fine but thats about it.
