i bought a Viewsonic n2000 21 inch LCD tv back in January or so.
Whenever I play Xbox or Playstation on it, I notice horizontal lines. It's really hard to explain. Basically if an object is moving horizontally, I see black lines going across the object. Sometimes it gets really bad. Like if I'm playing Gran Turismo 3 sometimes it get's so bad that the whole screen jitters up and down with these black lines. it's unbearable to even watch.
** note: I have both my xbox, and ps2 hooked up with 1st party high-def cables.
i notice it much more with my ps2, than with my xbox, but it is there. i also get the effect if i watch DVDs on either of the systems.
I don't really notice the lines with my cable box, but sometimes when i turn on the tv for the first 10 minutes the screen jumps around a bit.
i tried my friends PS2, i tried different HD cables, but the problem didn't go away.
are these lines/distortion I'm seeing normal to LCD tvs? what can i do besides bitching to viewsonic tech support?
