Problem with 7800 and BF2 [Archive]

Basically the game randomly closes at different times. Sometimes when i'm just in the game menu it will close and take me back to the desktop, and other times when i'm trying to connect to a server it will take me to the blue screen, where it said nv4_disp.dll was the problem one time, then PFN_LIST_CORRUPT another. I've already tried to reinstall the game, uninstall the drivers and install older ones, as well as uninstall the card in safe mode and reinstall the drivers. Nothing has seemed to work... any suggestions? i'm running.... amd Athlon 64 San Diego core 4000+ ASUS A8N-SLI Premium Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI ATX 1 gig OCZ pc3200 geforce 7800 gtx pci express HypnosisFX 08-20-2005, 01:08 AM HOw about some more system specs sir. Im running 2 7800's in SLI and i have no issues. Banana-X 08-20-2005, 04:13 AM updated with specs....... TheGhost 08-28-2005, 09:18 PM format, i had a random bluescreen problem with bf42 back when it was cool, formatted and np ;o norty 08-31-2005, 05:06 AM ive had problems with the 77.77 drivers. i would stick with the drivers that come with the game.
