Well... Will any Sempron processors run games ? or is 64 the way to go?
Oh and will the AMD 64 3000+ mobile work good on a desktop pc?

Not sure about stock performance (though they'll generate less heat for sure), but A64's are better overclockers (a typical 3000+ Venice can usually reach 2.4-2.6 GHz).
