Shacknews scored 2 new screenshots of Quake 4. I'm not that jazzed up about Quake 4, for some reason I've never been a huge fan of the Quake series. The only thing the first one had going for it was that Trent Reznor did the soundtrack. I will say that it looks like you might be able to control mechs, which would be way cool and might make me purchase the game. I don't care much about the bells and whistles, as long as they don't drop the ball with the gameplay.. Even if it does suck I have to at least check out the SP story(Q2 was the shit), but for multiplayer there's always ET:Quake Wars to fall back on.
