Ok so there are many things that make Australia a million times better then America. However there now appears to be another point for the US side of the debate... at least until this new chain goes international.

Nolan Bushnell is at it again. He founded Atari in 1972 and sold it four years later for $28 million with which he founded the Chuck E. Cheeze chain of restaurants that bring cheap food and digital entertainment under one roof. Many see him as the father of the software entertainment industry.
At the Ziff Davis Gaming Summit held in Sonoma, California this week, Bushnell announced plans to found a new chain of restaurants designed to lure women into gaming. He figures that if he builds it well, women will come and men will follow.
The restaurants will be outfitted with touch-screen tables that allow men and women to play nonviolent games designed to increase interaction between the two species. One game that is planned for this table platform is a wine-tasting game in which a couple can order a mystery wine and take an interactive quiz on the characteristics of that wine. Righteous.
Games + alcohol + women? The holy grail, friends. Pray that these restaurants take off.

Now, I have never really had much trouble with the ladies, so I am not down with this idea because it would allow my nerdiness to interact with females. However, I am all for getting more chicks into games. The more gamers the better as far as I am concerned.
